A few photos of the old city taken in the pouring rain..... apparently in summer it is literally impossible to move... so many tourists you have to just go with the flow of the crowds - great !! Even now, the weekends are full of Chinese/ Japs taking photos through huge lenses !

Trip to Carcassonne beach

Sues' idea of a day out - a walk round Lac de la cavayère, also known as Carcassonne beach, in the rain....

fortunately, sanity returned and we stopped off on the way home !!!...............
